We like each other, we are glad to know each other… But I wouldn\’t want to have it over every night. I know that I am not in the majority and I don\’t regret listening at all… But… Hmmm… The ending and I are not best friends. The reason why I am not jumping up and down begging everyone to listen is the epilogue. Most of the time I read straight up romance but sometimes it\’s nice to wave a little action over the top of the romance so after an hour, I was hooked! Aimee and Tristan crash land in the Amazon with all the difficulties and angst you would expect.

Layla Hagen’s Withering Hope book can be purchased right here. It was truly a sweet treat reading this one, and the ending was beautiful – depicting what love and its promises gave. Towards the end, the story took off – displaying the love Tristan and Aimee shared, which was a vast difference to her love for her fiancée (who was obviously devastated on the outcome). There were a few instances where one or the other would fall sick or be in a critical danger, but they pulled it through until they were rescued! Yes… after months of living in the jet plane and setting up fence to protect themselves from wild animals that started sniffing around. Eventually, the openness they shared grew and they fell for each other, knowing that one day could be their last. It was the strength each one of them possessed that helped them through difficult situations. They each had a routine to stick to and an alliance built between them. Thankfully he had some knowledge in the outdoors and knew somewhat plants were safe and which to stay far away from. That then turned into crashing into the Amazon jungle which they were stuck in for months.Īimee faced a few challenges trying to get Tristan to open up to her while he focused on making sure the both of them survived.
She was flying on her fiancé’s private jet with Tristan the pilot / driver when he announced to buckle up as they’re expecting some turbulence. This romance goodie starts off with Aimee on her way to her wedding where her fiancé was already waiting. This book was a sweet read! A quick one too!
